Frequently Asked Questions *SAMPLE COPY*

How will people hear about my site?

When you set up your web site, we will provide you with an ‘offline marketing guide’. Something AMS has put together specifically designed to direct local traffic to your site. We also suggest that you advertise your domain in all of the same places you would advertise your toll free number or office location (yellow pages, newspaper ads etc.) We have also found that things like community message boards on sites from your area are a cost effective and valuable way to drive local traffic to your site.

Do I use my existing email address, or how does that work?

With your site you will receive a personal email address that is specific to your actual site. Instructions on how to use this new email will be sent to you, upon completion of your site. If you do not want to use this address, we can attach an existing email address to this site and all reports will come from, and replies will be directed to this address.

How do I use my site, and make the changes myself?

Upon completion of your site, you will receive a User Guide that will walk you, step by step, through your site and how to use every aspect of it. Also, anyone of our CSR’s will be happy to go through it with you. In the event of changes needing to be made to your site that you are unable to complete yourself, you are granted three changes per month, to be made by AMS at no extra charge. You can email your requests to us and we can make the necessary changes to your site for you.

How do I get the information for my site to your company?

Any of your information can be sent to us via email, or through regular mail. If sent through ‘snail mail’ we need the images that are to be scanned, and the files on disk. We do not accept written reports (on paper) as it makes for too much work entering them manually. Any images or disks can be returned via mail upon completion if so desired.

I already have a web site, and would like to keep my domain name, as well as some of the information on it, is this possible?

As long as the domain address in question is owned by you, and not the company that is hosting your site we are able to use it. There will be some extra time required in getting you set up as we will need to transfer your domain to our servers, however it is most certainly possible. Also, we can put our site right over top of the existing site, replacing it all, or we can include any information from your old site that you wish to include.
